The Design...

A design should be first and foremost when considering any type of landscaping project. With so many details that landscaping involves, it's so important to use a design as a great communication tool throughout the process. Our designs are created using AutoCAD software or hand-drawn designs and have full color capabilities. You pay for the design and it's yours to keep it. Maybe you're looking for a full property design and want to do it in phases? Not a problem. We can break it down to fit your budget by working in phases.

Hardscaping.

Anything built with natural stone or man-made concrete products can be considered hardscaping. Hardscapes projects include the following: patios, outdoor kitchens, driveways, fireplaces, segmental retaining walls, walkways, pool fences, and steps. Besides a beautiful old-world look or a more modern look, hardscaping also is a flexible system allowing the freeze and thaw movement of the ground without any buldging or cracking.

Patios

Tired of the old wood deck and its continuous maintenance? Driveways and Parking Areas

Using pavers for driveways is an exellent choice for both aesthetics and function. Borders and circles add interest and focal points. With many styles and colors to choose from, there's a unique look for everyone. A few important aspects when installing a paver driveway is the proper base depth, subsoils, and proper components. Now lets look at permeable pavement, a newer concept used for driveways and patios.

Permable Pavers allow water to filtrate through the surface of the pavement and with the underlying soils or slowly drain into a storm sewer or watercourse. This is very environmentally friendly. A key compaction of the system is the use of geotextile fabric that helps clean and improve the quality of runoff by filteration through the base and removes 99.9% of all hydrodarbons and up to 97% of heavy metals from storm water through microbial action.

Retaining Walls

Whether it's a challenging hillside, an uneven backyard, a raised patio, or a shrubless plot in need of planters retaining walls will help solve any landscape dilemma while adding curb appeal and value to your property. Retaining walls can be subdivided into two categories: 1. Gravity Walls, 2. Reinforced walls. Gravity walls, usually less than 4', rely on weight of the unit to prevent the wall from sliding or overturning. Reinforced walls, 4' or taller, require geo-grid which reinforces the soil mass and provides stability.

Walkways, Pooldecks, and Steps

Spruce up the entrance to your home, usually the first impression, by adding a gracefully curving walk leading to a set of steps can add wonderful curb appeal and function. We'll help you find what fits best with your house and your budget.

These walks could lead you to the back of the home where you might have a pool and pool deck made with pavers. The pool deck is a great place to entertain and hang out with friends, so why not create a paradise in your back yard too?

Ponds - Perfect for the backyard or your business, ponds are a great way to provide a relaxed atmostphere. Pond sizes vary greatly and can be positioned and constructed a countless number of ways.

Pondless waterfalls- A low maintenance, child-safe feature a pondless waterfall may be the perfect fit for you. Maybe you want a small rippling stream next to the patio? Or a larger stream with waterfalls and lots of sound?

Fountains- A simple yet very attractive feature, a fountain is virtually maintenance free and looks great. Using either a Rim Rock Spire, a mushroom, a ceramic jar, or more, this feature will turn heads. Great for small areas such as next to patios or walks.
