Award Winning Riverfront Mansion Project
Completed in 2017
Over 1400 Square Feet
If you had purchased a 1800s-era property, wouldn’t you insist that any landscape renovations be consistent with the original style of the home? That is what this homeowner wanted, too. GoldGlo Landscapes successfully accomplished the objective.
The homeowner envisioned a pool and water feature, with space for entertaining adjacent to the pool. Natural full color Pennsylvania flagstone was installed for the patios and walkways, nicely matching the stone house. Large shrubs and bushes created a mature landscape and serve as a privacy screen. To allow proper drainage, an underground basin collects and manages rainwater from the roof downspouts and patio drains.

Pool and Patio
The traditional pool design with water features built into the wall creates a relaxing atmosphere in the pool courtyard. The patio welcomes both guests and family members and provides space for entertaining friends.
Positioned at the end of the pool, the pergola provides a convenient outdoor dining room space. Who wouldn’t love to sit and stay awhile?
A walkway of natural Pennsylvania flagstone leads from stone steps to the handsome front entrance of the home. Better than a red carpet! Follow the walkway around back to the pool.
A low stone wall surrounds part of the pool and patio area, defining the space. Accent lighting under the ledge on the wall adds a soft touch to the scene as darkness falls.
Large shrubs and other plants edge the patio to provide verdant beauty, the sound of rustling leaves, and a privacy screen from neighboring homes.
